Terms of Service
Last updated: June 17, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the getexcalibur.dev website and the commercial Excalibur Enterprise service. By using them, you agree to these Terms.
Excalibur Core is open-source
Excalibur Core is free and open-source software licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Your use of Core is governed by that license — not by these commercial Terms. Nothing here restricts your rights under Apache-2.0.
The service
Excalibur Enterprise is a commercial control plane provided as a hosted, hybrid or self-hosted offering. We may update features over time and will give reasonable notice of materially adverse changes.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account, your users, and keeping credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and comply with your organization's policies.
Acceptable use
- Don't break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate third-party (including model provider) terms.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer (except as Apache-2.0 permits for Core), or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated changes before they are merged or shipped.
Your content & intellectual property
You retain all rights to your code, prompts and data ("Customer Content"). We claim no ownership of Customer Content and use it only to provide the service. We do not train models on your Customer Content.
Models & third parties
Excalibur is model-agnostic and uses the providers you configure with your own keys. Your use of those models is subject to the provider's terms, and you are responsible for any associated costs.
Fees
Excalibur Enterprise is billed as agreed in your order or plan. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated.
Disclaimers
The service and AI outputs are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI agents can make mistakes; you are responsible for reviewing and verifying their output before relying on it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Your rights to Excalibur Core under Apache-2.0 are unaffected.
Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in your order, or otherwise our principal place of business.
